The main goal of the FinISAC service is to increase the cyber resilience of financial structures through information. Its main activities include:
- the collection and timely exchange of information on cyber threats, vulnerabilities and incidents;
- updates on the status and evolution of cyber threats and how they can be tackled (attack models, countermeasures, best practices, etc.);
- the release of regular update reports and a study of the impact of computer fraud in the industry through surveys and statistical analysis.
CERTFin also works with several networks and organisations operating in the cyber sphere (e.g. European CERT) for the exchange of information to protect critical systems and resources and to counter possible attacks in the national and international arena.
